A friendly sewing club where participants bring their own projects and get guidance from expert repairer Lauren Davies.
Simply Repair Sewing Club is a three-hour afternoon session where people bring their own sewing projects — making, mending or alterations — and work alongside others. Lauren Davies, founder of Kendal outdoor gear repair service Iron Keld Repairs, is on hand to offer advice on projects and sewing machines. Sewing machines can be hired for £5, and hot drinks and biscuits are provided; beginners and accompanied children aged 12 and over are welcome.
