About
An ascending ladder bench press and deadlift competition for 10 men and 10 women at Peak Physique Gym in Hull.
Competitors choose an opening weight and work through progressively heavier bench press and deadlift lifts, with one attempt per weight and elimination on a failed lift; the heaviest successful lift wins. There are separate men's and women's ladders, limited to 10 places each, and the last remaining lifters may nominate their next weight. The competition runs for three hours from a 10am start on Sunday 13 December 2026.
