Art Restoration under the Nazi Regime: Morwenna Blewett

Morwenna Blewett examines the role of art restorers in Nazi looting, concealment and ideological manipulation.

Drawing on her new study of conservation during the National Socialist era, Blewett explores the profession’s involvement in networks of profit, persecution and cultural propaganda, and how those roles were later obscured.
