A social five-mile guided walk leaves Lyveden for nearby woods and countryside.

The published November and December walks begin at the Visitor Reception building; the source says to arrive at 10:15 for a 10:30 departure. The route passes through Lyveden’s grounds toward Bearshank, Lilford and “New Planation” woods and is around five miles. The event page’s time table gives 10:15–12:30 while its narrative says the walk takes around two hours. The walks are led by the site’s Guided Walk leaders; no individual leader is named.
