Where Shadows Rest

A UK premiere documentary set in the polluted bay of Elefsina, Greece, where 70-year-old Kostas removes toxic shipwrecks while the town prepares to become European Capital of Culture.

Kostas proposes sinking a cleaned ship as a symbol of renewal, but a buried secret from his past threatens the community's trust. The film is eligible for the Audience and Jury Awards and runs 86 minutes. Tickets are 'You Choose' £8/£6.50/£5 plus a £1.25 booking fee. One screening on 8 November at 11.30am.
