Marquee Square Heroes: Brief Encounter

Tribute band Marquee Square Heroes perform a new show recreating Marillion's mid-1980s live era, including music from Misplaced Childhood and Brief Encounter.

Following their 2025 show marking the 40th anniversary of Misplaced Childhood, Marquee Square Heroes return with Brief Encounter, a production recreating Marillion's shows and atmosphere of the mid-1980s. The performance draws on material from Script from a Jester's Tear, Fugazi, Real to Reel, Misplaced Childhood and the Brief Encounter EP, in the spirit of Marillion's original live sets of that era. The evening is billed as a celebration of neo-progressive rock's classic period, with nostalgia and musicianship aimed at fans across generations.
