A weekly community repair café where people can learn practical ways to repair and reuse clothing.
The Repair & ReUse Café at Age UK Waltham Forest’s Leyton Store meets on Fridays from 14:00 to 16:00. Participants can bring clothing to mend and learn techniques including darning, patching, stitching, and replacing zips or buttons. The official flyer welcomes everyone and says no experience is needed. The NLWA index currently lists 25 September and 2 October sessions; its event details and flyer describe the weekly Friday schedule.
