Wildlife Watch: Hibernating Hedgehogs (4+)

A primary-age outdoor session about hedgehogs’ nocturnal lives, winter food and shelter, with a mud-hedgehog craft.

Children explore what hedgehogs eat and where they shelter in winter, then make a hedgehog from mud. The session is aimed at primary-school age and runs outdoors in most weather.
