Stories of Sudan: Exhibition Closing Event

A closing event for the Stories of Sudan exhibition featuring a talk by photographer Jill Orpen and music at Tate Streatham Library.

Lambeth Libraries hosts a closing event for the exhibition Stories of Sudan, which pairs historical photographs of Sudan taken in the 1970s by Jill Orpen with artworks made by children in Green Kordofan's art programme at Yida refugee camp in South Sudan. The evening includes a talk by the photographer and music, offering a final view of the display. Exhibition sales raise funds for art, music and educational activities for children displaced by war.
