About

The Sitkovetsky Trio performs piano trios by Elfrida Andrée, Lena Sierova and Mendelssohn in the Leeds International Chamber Series.

The Sitkovetsky Trio — Alexander Sitkovetsky (violin), Isang Enders (cello) and Wu Qian (piano) — give a concert in the Leeds International Chamber Series 2026/27, themed In the Shadows of Giants. The programme pairs Elfrida Andrée's second piano trio with Lena Sierova's Bucha, written for the trio as a tribute to the victims of the 2022 massacre in Bucha, Ukraine. Mendelssohn's virtuosic second piano trio closes the evening. Doors open at 19:00 for the 19:30 concert.
