About
A festive family concert of blockbuster film music performed by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra with singers Jamie MacDougall and Frances Mayli McCann, conducted by Joshua Gersen.
The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra marks the run-up to Christmas with a celebration of cinematic sound at the Usher Hall. The programme features soaring melodies and pulse-pounding rhythms from iconic film soundtracks, performed live by a full symphony orchestra. Singer and presenter Jamie MacDougall and singer Frances Mayli McCann appear alongside conductor Joshua Gersen, and the evening is pitched as nostalgic, toe-tapping fun suitable for all ages.
