About
A documentary traces Lovers Rock and the young Black Britons who shaped the reggae subgenre.
Interviews, archive, dance, comedy and live performance revisit the music’s growth in the 1970s and 1980s. The film connects the scene to identity, racial tension and a generation of women empowered by its sound.
