Free fortnightly drop-in sewing sessions where volunteers help maintain and repair York Theatre Royal's Costume Hire stock.
York Theatre Royal is running a new fortnightly Costume Sewing Group at its Costume Hire unit in Osbaldwick. Volunteers help maintain and repair the Costume Hire stock and update the collection, supporting the theatre behind the scenes. Sessions run 1pm-4pm, sewing machines and basic kits are provided, and all skill levels are welcome, though pre-booking is required as spaces are limited.
