The Kitchen Brigade (2022)

After her plans for a restaurant collapse, chef Cathy Marie takes a job in a migrant shelter’s kitchen, where she finds a new purpose teaching and feeding its young residents.

The Market Theatre bills this French-language comedy and names director Louis-Julien Petit and actors Audrey Lamy, François Cluzet and Chantal Neuwirth. Cathy’s new kitchen role starts as a financial stopgap after her restaurant plans fail, but the work at the shelter changes how she sees the people she feeds.
