Fiction Book Club – January 2027: O Caledonia by Elspeth Barker

A bookseller-led book club at The Portobello Bookshop discussing Elspeth Barker's O Caledonia, with a complimentary drink included.

The Portobello Bookshop's monthly Fiction Book Club, led by one of its booksellers, meets to discuss a chosen title from the shop's general fiction shelves, with a complimentary beverage for attendees. The January 2027 session focuses on Elspeth Barker's O Caledonia, a novel about Janet, a misunderstood sixteen-year-old growing up in a draughty Scottish castle who turns to animals, books and her own imagination. The club usually takes place on the first Tuesday of the month.
