Jon Boden: Tree House Bookshop at Abbey Hill URC

Bellowhead's Jon Boden performs a solo show of English folk songs to launch his book 'A Folk Song A Day' at Abbey Hill United Reformed Church.

Jon Boden, lead singer of Bellowhead, returns to solo touring to launch his new book 'A Folk Song A Day', published by Faber Music. The show features a song from each month of the book, taking the audience through 300 years of English folk song, mixing rarities and curiosities with classics from his own back catalogue. The tour builds on his 2010 project recording 365 folk songs released one a day for a year. Doors open at 7pm with music from 7.30pm, and a bar selling alcoholic and soft drinks will be available.
