On Freedom’s Wings Exhibition

An exhibition at Worksop Library follows the making of the On Freedom’s Wings Lancaster sculpture and the people who brought the project to completion.

The exhibition traces the Bomber County Gateway Trust’s work from the 2018 groundbreaking ceremony to completion of the large Lancaster sculpture. It focuses on the volunteers and contributors who made the project possible. It is on display 18 November–23 December 2026, all day during the library’s opening hours, with no booking required. Free entry.
