About
John Osborne's festive storytelling show celebrating the Christmas songs we love, from Slade and Mariah to carols and brass bands.
John Osborne, the theatre-maker and Radio 4 regular behind John Peel's Shed, presents a festive show about the music that makes Christmas special. Through storytelling he explores the stories behind songs from Slade, Mariah Carey and The Pogues to brass bands and Ukrainian carols. Funny and nostalgic, the show runs approximately one hour and 30 minutes with an interval and is recommended for ages 12 and over.
