Digitober Event: Free Community Digital Skills Workshops
About
A free drop-in community digital skills day with local organisations offering help on online safety, NHS services, AI and device support.
Digitober at Langworthy Cornerstone is a free, drop-in community event helping people build digital confidence. Local organisations offer practical sessions: Barclays covers fraud and staying safe online, Age Friendly Salford introduces technology, Community Upskilling CIC covers employment-related digital skills, FavourCare helps people find GP and dental services via NHS websites, and the University of Salford explains AI. Digital Inclusion Champions provide one-to-one device support throughout the day, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own device.
