The Relational Crucible: Integrative Couples Therapy | 2-Day CPD

A two-day CPD course for trainee and qualified therapists on integrative couples therapy combining TA, Gestalt and psychosexual approaches.

This two-day course at Physis Scotland gives trainee and qualified therapists three lenses on couple work: Transactional Analysis for interlocking scripts, Gestalt for tracking contact, and a biopsychosocial frame for sex and intimacy. Day one covers scripts, contracts, ego states, transference and the Gestalt cycle of contact; day two covers sexual history taking, desire discrepancy, infidelity, power and ethical practice. Teaching combines short inputs, experiential triad work, case vignettes and small group discussion, with no prior TA or Gestalt training required. Attendees receive a course handbook and 14 hours of CPD with a certificate.
