Finds Identification Session

Bring an archaeological object to the Sussex Finds Liaison Officer for identification and advice on archaeological discoveries.

The Museum’s Finds Sessions are run with the Portable Antiquities Scheme by the Finds Liaison Officer for Sussex. The next published session is Thursday 12 November 2026 in the Fleming Room at the Manor House, reached through a separate entrance to the left of the Museum’s main entrance. Appointments must be booked in advance by contacting the officer, who assigns a time and can advise on metal detecting and archaeological material.
