About
A family grotto visit with Victorian Father Christmas inside a vintage Christmas grotto at Blaenafon Ironworks; Welsh-language sessions are on 12 December and English-language sessions on 13, 19 and 20 December.
The grotto takes place at Blaenafon Ironworks on 12, 13, 19 and 20 December 2026. Cadw publishes a 10:30–15:30 event window for each day and identifies the 12 December session as Welsh-language, with English-language sessions on the other three dates. The Ironworks opens exclusively to grotto visitors on these dates. Last entry is 15:00. A child ticket costs £10; accompanying adults are free.
