Cheese vs cake: ultimate drinks pairings

A guided tasting showdown pairing six drinks with competing cakes and cheeses, hosted by WSET School London's Ed Wicks and Iris Fabre.

Ed Wicks DipWSET and Iris Fabre DipWSET lead a festive pairing challenge asking whether drinks are best matched with a cheeseboard or a dessert. Six drinks are each paired with both a cake and a cheese from La Fromagerie, and attendees taste through them while learning about food and drink pairing principles and the stories behind the selections. The session is pitched at intermediate level, with some prior knowledge such as WSET Level 2 beneficial but not required.
