Astrid Williamson and Jules Maxwell

Astrid Williamson and Jules Maxwell, both former Dead Can Dance keyboard players, team up for an evening of folk-infused electronics and neoclassical songs.

The two keyboard players, who share a history with Dead Can Dance, perform songs from Williamson's album Shetland Suite and Maxwell's instrumental Nocturnes, blending folk-infused electronics with neoclassical elegance. Williamson, formerly of Goya Dress, has collaborated with artists including John Cale and Lisa Gerrard, while Maxwell has composed for the National Theatre, Shakespeare's Globe and the Royal Opera House. The evening promises haunting melodies, cyclical rhythms and cinematic depth.
