Somebody’s Walking Over My Grave

Sascha Akhtar leads poetry writing visits to three London burial grounds, using grave rubbings and local histories to explore memory, grief, land and the relationship between the living and the dead.

This hybrid course combines three fortnightly cemetery visits with online writing and peer feedback weeks. Physical sessions take place at Crossbones Graveyard, Hampstead Cemetery and St Pancras Old Churchyard. Open to all levels; feedback weeks are not additional physical performances.
