Gruffalo Granny and other tales with Axel Scheffler

A festive 40-minute show where illustrator Axel Scheffler draws live, reads Gruffalo Granny, Zog and Stick Man, and answers children's questions, followed by a book signing.

Illustrator Axel Scheffler appears on stage drawing his beloved characters live, with the original signed drawings auctioned afterwards. He reads from Gruffalo Granny, the first new Gruffalo story in over 20 years by Julia Donaldson, as well as his classics Zog and Stick Man. Children can ask questions in a Q&A session and meet Axel at a book signing afterwards (only books purchased at the event can be signed). The event is aimed at children aged 3+, with merchandise including books, prints and Christmas cards on sale in aid of Habitats & Heritage.
