Astronomy for All 2026: Talks

A series of one-hour public astronomy talks at the Royal Observatory Edinburgh on Tuesday evenings, suitable for everyone aged 12+.

The Royal Observatory Edinburgh brings back its Astronomy for All talk series on Tuesday evenings, inviting scientists and engineers to explain what they do and how it fits into the wider world of astronomy. The programme includes Madeleine McLeod on saving the world with the Rubin telescope, James Fecanin on the weather on Titan, and Martin Black and William Taylor on Christmas at the ROE. Each one-hour talk is aimed at anyone curious about the Universe, with no prior knowledge needed, and is suitable for ages 12 and up.
