About
An 18–25s workshop traces food consumption from the Palaeolithic to today and explores domestication and the environmental and social effects of food.
Participants consider how food consumption has changed since hunter-gatherer communities, then plan a mock temporary exhibition about aurochs and cow domestication, using an aurochs skull as its featured object. The workshop is part of Creswell Crags’ youth sustainability project, led with curator and palaeontologist Dr Angharad Jones and archaeologist and sustainability expert Dr Theresa Nelson.
