Western Association of Ballet Schools: Vortex - A Children's Production

Over 250 young dancers from seven local affiliated schools perform ballet, contemporary and other genres in the charity showcase Vortex - Spinning Through Time.

The Western Association of Ballet Schools (WABS), a self-funding registered charity, presents Vortex - Spinning Through Time, a children's dance production at Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre. More than 250 young dancers from seven affiliated local dance schools take part, performing an exciting mix of genres including ballet and contemporary in what the organisers describe as a dazzling display of dance and costume. The performance moves through the ages and raises support so the charity can continue giving young dancers the opportunity to perform in public.
