The Churchfitters – “Christmas Cracker”
About
The Churchfitters bring their festive 'Christmas Cracker' folk show of songs, carols, homemade instruments and jokes to Threlkeld Village Hall.
The three-piece folk band The Churchfitters present their 'Christmas Cracker' show, mixing traditional, familiar and original festive songs and carols with their self-described 'Folk Unlimited' style. The England-and-France trio perform on conventional instruments alongside homemade creations including a hub-cap bass-bouzouki, a saucepan double bass, a hack-saw-blade 'bing-bong' machine, a musical saw and a glass harp. The high-energy show also promises surprises, novelties and plenty of terrible jokes. The bar and box office open from 7:15pm.
