Family Day

A free half-term family day with a drop-in art workshop, short museum introductions and hands-on activities.

Families with children under 13 can choose an 11:00–13:00 or 14:00–16:00 booking slot; the museum closes between sessions. Activities include sensory exploration of the Herb Garret, pomander making, trails and introductions at 11:00 and 14:00. A responsible adult must supervise each child. Entry is free, with advance booking or tickets at the front desk subject to the small museum's capacity. The attic has a 52-step spiral stair; a back-of-house lift may be arranged for access, and there is no toilet onsite.
