About

An amateur production of the romantic comedy adaptation Persuasion (James) runs for three evenings at Buxton Opera House.

Buxton Opera House hosts an amateur production of the stage adaptation Persuasion (James), presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals. The comedy reworks Jane Austen's novel with Anne Elliot thrown back into the orbit of Captain Wentworth, juggling family disputes and mixed signals as a second chance at love looms. Performances run on three consecutive evenings in November 2026.
