About
An exhibition of North Staffordshire migration stories, woven into tapestries and accompanied by a four-channel sound installation.
The exhibition presents oral histories from people and families who came to North Staffordshire, including experiences of displacement, livelihood and belonging. Tapestries transcribe participants’ recorded conversations. The gallery also plays In Perpetuum, a site-responsive soundscape by Güler Ateş in collaboration with Leyla Huysal and Yusuf Huysal.
