About
This exhibition showcases the work and life of the Wrens, a family of studio potters who lived and worked at the Oxshott Pottery.
The exhibition features objects from the Crafts Study Centre’s collections and loans, revealing the Wrens’ alternative and surprisingly subversive pots and ideas. It also includes the hand-carved Oxshott Pottery door, the Wrens’ self-designed kick-wheel, and studio paraphernalia. Denise, Henry, and Rosemary Wren were pivotal in shaping public awareness of studio pottery in twentieth-century Britain.
