About

Crane Watch Volunteer David Cohen tells how nesting cranes returned to Lincolnshire after more than 400 years and how wetland restoration supports them.

Crane Watch Volunteer David Cohen recounts the 2020 nesting by a pair of cranes at Willow Tree Fen, the first successfully fledged Lincolnshire chick in over 400 years, and the wet-fen restoration and volunteer work that have supported cranes and other wildlife since. The talk takes place in the Old Coastguard Station. Attendees can show their ticket at the Visitor Centre for a £5.50 sandwich-and-soup or cake-and-hot-drink offer.
