Five-Day Sustainable Perfume Making with Sarah McCartney

A five-day practical course explores sustainable perfume materials, scent training and fragrance formulation with Sarah McCartney.

The January and March courses each combine five daily sessions of smell training, making accords and composing fragrances. Participants explore renewable, biodegradable and upcycled materials, adapt formulas and discuss the practical questions of running an artisan perfume brand. Each course is limited to eight participants and is booked as a whole week. Bookings are accepted for ages 15 and over. Sessions take place in the upstairs Hammersmith studio, reached by a narrow staircase without a handrail; contact the studio before booking if special arrangements are needed.
