Sip & Paint: the Art of Comedy

A hands-on caricature painting workshop at Showtown Blackpool inspired by the 1966 Comedy Parade Illuminations, led by a local published illustrator.

This two-hour workshop explores the playful world of caricature art, inspired by the Comedy Parade Illuminations of 1966. Led by a local published illustrator, participants experiment with bold shapes, bright colours and exaggerated features in a relaxed session open to all abilities. Everyone leaves with their own piece of art, and the ticket includes a glass of red or white wine or a non-alcoholic drink.
