Welsh National Opera: Jason and the Argonauts

This 45-minute opera for young audiences follows Jason, raised in a magical forest, as he sets out to reclaim his throne from Uncle Pelias by retrieving the Golden Fleece from Colchis. Alongside his band of Argonauts he faces dragons and sirens, discovering the power of music along the way. The production is designed as an accessible introduction to opera for children, showcasing the orchestra and the human voice. It is recommended for ages 7-12, with under-16s required to sit with an adult.
