About

Barbara Hannigan sings and conducts the London Symphony Orchestra in a 60-minute Half Six Fix programme of Charles Ives and Gershwin.

The LSO programme moves from a traditional hymn arrangement through two works by Charles Ives to Robert Russell Bennett’s symphonic picture of Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess. Barbara Hannigan is billed as conductor, presenter and soprano, and introduces the concert.
