Metal Sculpture Taster
About
A practical one-day introduction to metal sculpture, welding, cutting, shaping and safe workshop practice at Morley’s Pelham Hall.
These beginner-friendly sessions introduce practical metal sculpture through demonstrations, supported hands-on practice and health-and-safety guidance. Participants can shape steel, try MIG welding and cutting techniques, and explore ways to make three-dimensional work. Morley lists tutors Georgina Forwood and Steve Hodgson; basic materials are included, and participants should wear old clothes and sturdy footwear. Two separately coded cohorts share the published programme format and tutors and are retained as distinct dated sessions at the same physical venue.
