A Christmas Carol: A One-Man Performance by Toby Burchell

A candlelit one-man performance of Dickens's A Christmas Carol by Toby Burchell at St Bartholomew's Church, Benthall Hall.

Behind the Door Productions presents a one-man performance of A Christmas Carol, performed by Toby Burchell in the candlelit setting of St Bartholomew's Church at Benthall Hall. The immersive retelling follows Ebenezer Scrooge's Christmas Eve encounters with the ghosts who show him the effects of his cruelty, told in the style Dickens used when performing for friends and family. The performance runs from 2pm to 4pm; the church is unheated and has one step at the entrance, so warm clothes and a cushion are advised.
