Thresholds: Light, Memory, and Place

Artist in Residence Matthew Eyles reimagines East Riddlesden Hall through architecture, landscape, light and changing seasons.

Yorkshire artist and trained architect Matthew Eyles developed the exhibition through repeated visits and on-site work. Using acrylic ink, watercolour, pen, coloured pencil, graphite and charcoal, he explores where architecture and landscape meet, and how light and season change familiar spaces. The exhibition runs 24 October 2026–14 April 2027, with visitor dates and seasonal hours listed across that period.
