Light The Night - A Neighbourhood Cabaret

A free family-friendly lantern-making, parade and neighbourhood cabaret evening celebrating the Cossall Estate, with local performers and live musicians.

Produced by The Purple Ladies and funded through Southwark Council's neighbourhood fund, this free community event celebrates the Cossall Estate and its neighbourhood. From 3pm, attendees can make lanterns in the hall; at 5pm there is a lantern parade around the Cossall Estate, followed by free soup for all at 6pm. The evening concludes with a neighbourhood cabaret featuring local performers and live musicians, including The Purple Ladies Circus Troupe, Sarah Bear, Collectif and then, UK International Dance for Palestine and Sheraws. The hall is wheelchair accessible on the ground floor.
