This Is Still Not a Pipe: The Afterlife of Magritte

An exhibition pairs paintings, works on paper and sculpture by René Magritte with works by more than forty contemporary artists, exploring his influence across generations.

Organized with the Fondation Magritte and curated by Jasper Sharp and Bernard Lagrange, the exhibition draws on museum and private loans from across Magritte’s career. New paintings, objects and photographs by contemporary artists join historical works to explore his visual paradoxes and continuing influence. A fully illustrated catalogue accompanies the exhibition.
