Young Archaeologists' Club
About
A monthly hands-on history club for ages 8–16, with November study of the Mongol empire and Silk Road, a December myths-and-legends gathering, and January art-making.
The Young Archaeologists’ Club meets at The Cedars for ages 8–16, with morning and afternoon sessions. On 21 November the group explores the Mongol empire and Silk Road through crafts, writing and a silkworm cocoon. The 19 December Christmas gathering invites young people to share a myth, mystery or legend through a presentation or game, with festive activities and treats. On 16 January, the group discusses what art can tell us and makes art. Each date has sessions from 11:00–12:30 and 13:30–15:00. Child tickets are £5; Friends member child tickets are £4.50.
