About
A mini-exhibition at Lancaster City Museum marking 90 years since the Ruxton murders, focusing on the victims Belle and Mary.
Created in September 2025 to mark 90 years since the Ruxton murders, this mini-exhibition occupies the upstairs corridor of Lancaster City Museum. It displays objects from the museum's collection connected to the case, in which Buck Ruxton murdered his wife Isabella (Belle) and their housemaid and nanny Mary. The display focuses mainly on the two victims rather than Ruxton himself. It can be viewed during the museum's opening hours of 10:30am–4pm, Friday to Tuesday.
