About
During a turbulent Medea shoot in Senegal, actor Maja begins an affair with co-star Nourou. Their later reunion at the film’s Berlin premiere is unsettled by arguments about colonial representation and a racist incident.
The Institut français describes Ulrich Köhler’s drama as moving between a Medea adaptation filmed in Senegal and the Berlin premiere months later, where the relationship between Maja and Nourou meets political conflict around the film and its reception.
