Hernan Diaz, author of Trust, appears at Waterstones Sauchiehall Street to launch his new novel Ply, a speculative story set in a dystopian American future dominated by technology and aggressive capitalism. He will be in conversation with Heather Parry, author of Carrion Crow and Electric Dreams, discussing telling a literary story in a science fictional setting, imagining the future and the importance of metaphor. The evening lasts two hours, with doors at 6:30 PM, and ends with Diaz signing copies of his books.
