Jackie Oates and John Spiers Christmas Wassail

Folk duo Jackie Oates and John Spiers present a seated Christmas wassail concert of carols, festive songs and tunes at Old Bakery Studios.

Jackie Oates and John Spiers, two of the most recognised musicians on the British folk scene, bring their Christmas Wassail to Old Bakery Studios for a seated concert with tables. The evening features English carols, wassails and historical traditions alongside festive songs and tunes from the British Isles and beyond, played on fiddle, melodeon, percussion, recorders and stomp box. The duo also share insights into their own family traditions, offering a vision of a simpler, tradition-centred Christmas.
