Goat Milking Induction

A two-hour small-group session at Oxford City Farm learning the basics of safe, calm goat milking, as an induction to the farm's Goat Milking Programme.

Oxford City Farm runs this relaxed introductory session on goat milking, guided by Bradley, covering safe, calm and hygienic milking and the farm's daily routines. It serves as the first step towards joining the farm's Goat Milking Programme, where goats are milked twice daily at 8am and 6pm and participants commit to at least one 30–45 minute shift per week. The session is aimed at anyone interested in dairy goats and animal care, and the £10 fee is deducted from the £90 annual programme cost if participants join.
